Thursday afternoons we travel by taxi to volunteer our services to the local parish in Glenhuntly (St Anthony’s) to peel and prepare vegetables to feed the homeless and under privileged.


Casey Aged Care hosts” Healthy Eating For Over 55’s” as part of the Ageing Positive Festival

This will include a presentation by a dietician on the dietary requirements of the older person to ensure they maintain their physical and emotional wellbeing. A cooking demonstration will be held by the facility chef following the presentation.


THE STORY OF THE PIANO

I used to love to play it, and in the early days it was played quite regularly. However, over time, it was played more and more infrequently, to the point where 12 months or more often passed between my sitting down at the keyboard. In recent years it became more of “ä place to show our photos”, we decided to find it a good home.
And now it has. Parkdale Aged Care I wish you all many happy hours of listening to wonderful music.

There was a wonderful afternoon of fun and interaction between residents and staff from Casey Aged Care who recently visited Casey Manor for an indoor bowls competition.
